Dramatic Rescue of Polish Racers Trapped in Renault Clio that Flipped into a Lake

Video footage of a chilling incident that serves as a reminder of the dangers faced by racing drivers has surfaced online. The accident took place in Poland during the first stage of the 2012 Mazowiecki Rally when a Renault Clio racecar crashed and flipped over landing into a pond, roof first trapping both the driver, Patrick Osowiecki and his navigator, Maciej Wrona. The two men were under water tied up in their racing bucket seats. Luckily for them, even though there were no officials around, rally fans came to their rescue almost immediately saving them from the worst. Futuristic MG Midget Concept Created by Design Student During Internship at SAIC

More than six years after China's Nanjing Automobiles acquired the once-famed MG brand only to be incorporated itself in SAIC Motor's portfolio a couple of years later, the British carmaker is still struggling to find its way and re-enter the global scene. At last month's Beijing Auto Show, we saw MG providing a glimpse into the future with the Icon, a study for a small crossover coupe. Steve Jobs' Dream was to Design an iCar, Says Apple Board Member

After learning about the iTV and how he wanted to shake up the television industry, J. Crew CEO and Apple board member Mickey Drexler talked about another product that Jobs had been contemplating, one much less publicized, during a recent interview at Fast Company's Innovation Uncensored symposium in New York. "Look at the car industry; it's a tragedy in America. Who is designing the cars?" said Drexler. "Steve's dream before he died was to design an iCar ." The Apple insider noted that "it would've been probably 50% of the market" though he pointed out that Jobs "never did design it".
